Research Aptitude Test

All the eligible PhD aspirants will be called to appear in Research Aptitude Test (RAT) on the notified date and time. The syllabus of the Entrance Test consists of 50% of research aptitude, reasoning, English proficiency and 50% is subject specific. The qualifying marks for the PhD entrance test (RAT) are at least 50%.

The structure of RAT Examination Paper is as follows.

Syllabus of PART-B

This part of the examination paper (PART-B) will contain the subject related questions related to the field in which the candidate applied for the admission in PhD. The syllabus of this part will be as per the UGC/CSIR/GATE examination of the respective subject area program. The PART-B is further divided into two sections.

SECTION-I: It will contain 10/20 Multiple Choice Questions, mainly from the Undergraduate Level.

SECTION-II: The candidate has to answer 3 Questions from the given 10 Subjective Questions of Post Graduate Level.

SECTION-III: Interview
