Establishment of innovation, incubation & entrepreneurship in a higher education institution is absolutely nation building process through Universities. As India’s ranking has improved in the Innovation Index to 52, our activities & programs in C-IIE at SRMU will create more technology business incubators through identified innovations from students. This center further exhorts the young students to find technological solutions for rural development. Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi Ji believed in four steps of - Innovate, Patent, Produce and Prosper, will lead India towards faster development.

The main objective is to produce rural entrepreneurs in self-sustainable projects and socio-economic products with innovation through Incubation for mass employment generation in rural areas, which are few of 17 Global SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) of United Nations.

C-IIE of SRMU Goal :

  • To identify students & staffs innovative projects, to file PATENT for publishing & granting
  • To promote self-employment and Entrepreneurship culture in Rural India through SRMU
  • To enhance employability of graduated through industry specific skill development training
  • To produce women entrepreneurs and empower women
  • To conduct Entrepreneurship Development Programs & IPR seminars

C-IIE of SRMU will provide the following services to all the institutions to identify innovative ideas from students community, selected innovations are recommended to file patent, process of PATENT publishing & granting, design & development of products / process, training in incubation to transform students as entrepreneurs, establish industry linkages for startups, arrange for industrial resources to assess the market conditions and entrepreneurs requirements.

If we talk about recent scenario entrepreneurship in India is on the verge of explosive growth. And one important cog in the wheel is the Incubation centers”
