The following are the Program outcomes :

  • PO1 - Utilize the basic knowledge in mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and specialization to solve engineering problems.
  • PO2 - Identify and analyze well-defined engineering problems and arrive at valid conclusions.
  • PO3 - Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
  • PO4 - Choose, apply and construct the appropriate techniques, resources and modern tools required for engineering applications, tests and measurements.
  • PO5 –Apply the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety and cultural issues and endure the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  • PO6 - Examine the impact of engineering solutions in global and environmental contexts and utilize the knowledge for sustained development.
  • PO7 - Identify and demonstrate knowledge of ethical values in non-classroom activities, such as service learning, internships and field work.
  • PO8 - Perform effectively as an individual or as a member/ supervisor/ leader in multidisciplinary teams.
  • PO9 - Supervise the operation of industrial equipments and examine their performances.
  • PO10 - Communicate on engineering activities with the engineering community and society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write reports and design documentation, make presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
  • PO11 - Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles to manage projects in multidisciplinary environment.
  • PO12 - Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in updating in the context of technological changes.

Program specific outcome are :

  • PSO1 – Apply the fundamental of Mathematics, basic sciences and engineering knowledge to identify simple engineering problems.
  • PSO2 - Apply the concepts of electric circuits, control systems, electrical machines, power system and power electronics to formulate ,design and develop application based systems.
  • PSO3 – Apply the appropriate techniques and modern engineering hardware and software tools in electrical engineering to engage in life-long learning and to successfully adapt in multi-disciplinary environment.
  • PSO4 – Develop ethical attitude, communication skills, teamwork skills, entrepreneurial thinking and an ability to relate engineering attitude to societal issues.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed 10th or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board with minimum aggregate marks of 35% along with Science, Maths & English as compulsory subjects.
