The Master of Business Administration (Banking and Financial Services) is an internationally recognized two-year post graduate degree, designed to develop the skills required for careers in banking and financial services. SRMU offers MBA (BFS) as specialized program which provides the students to become capable of working in the BFSI sector. Students can obtain more than the required credits, and adopt interdisciplinary approach to learning. It also offers various value added courses which aims at providing additional disciplinary learning to the students as well as opportunity for earning additional credits.

Program Objectives (PO):

The objectives of MBA (Banking and Financial Services) are:
  • PO1: To remember the conceptual knowledge with an integrated approach to various functions of management.
  • PO2: To develop effective communication and presentation skills required to become a successful business professional.
  • PO3: To analyze and apply research and analytical skills in business decision making.
  • PO4: To demonstrate the skills of organizing, planning, controlling, team-building and leadership in the challenging business environment.
  • PO5: To devise the ethical values and business ethics required for being socially responsible and environmental sensitive professional in business.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must have passed Graduation or equivalent system in any discipline from any recognised University or AICTE recognised Institute/College with minimum aggregate marks of 50% or CGPA of 5.5 for Gen/OBC category and 45% marks or CGPA of 5.0 for SC/ST Category.
