B.A. (Hons.) English The courses B.A. (Hons.) and English Literature focus on the study of writing in English from Anglo Saxon to modern age while covering Indian Writing in English and literature from other parts of the world: American, African, Canadian, Australian and European. Studying the literary texts in an intellectual context, the course also provides learners to inculcate critical skills through literary techniques and discursive approaches for an in-depth study of English Language and Literature

  • To help the students to communicate to diverse audiences in a variety of contexts and genres.

  • To develop exceptional textual, visual, and verbal communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board with English as compulsory subject with minimum aggregate marks of 45% or equivalent grade for Gen/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST Category.
