Overview
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Automobile) - (Lateral Entry) deals with the study of designing, manufacturing and operating automobiles likes buses, trucks, cars etc. and their respective engineering subsystems. It also offers specialization in aerodynamics, alternative fuels, chassis, electronics, emissions, ergonomics, manufacturing, materials, motor-sport, power-train, rapid prototyping, vehicle and pedestrian safety or supply chain management. After completion of the course, one can find much job option in various automobile sectors.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board with minimum aggregate marks of 35% along with Maths, Physics and English as compulsory subjects.
Or
Candidate must have passed 10th with ITI (Minimum 2 years' duration) from any institutions recognized by State Government in relevant engineering subjects with minimum aggregate marks of 60% or Intermediate Science with Vocational/Technical subjects.
