Overview

B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Lateral Entry) is a four-year undergraduate degree course in the field of Civil Engineering. After B.Tech CE, the students are capable to work for Govt. Sectors/ PSU’s/ MNCs or can do master course like Master in Technology in field of structural, environmental engineering etc. It is a technical degree that prepares students for a career in the field of Civil Engineering and software development in specific specialized field.

B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Lateral Entry) offers opportunity to take admission in II year of regular B.Tech (CE) programme. The course curriculum of B.Tech (CE) lateral entry is same as that of regular B.Tech(CE) Programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed 3 or 4 year Diploma in technical stream from institutions recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education or B.Sc. degree in Biology/ Microbiology/ Botony/ Zoology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Maths/ Physiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Agriculture with minimum aggregate marks of 45% or 5.0 CGPA for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or 4.5 CGPA for SC/ST Category.
