B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Specialization in Electric Vehicle Engineering) - Lateral Entry is a 03 years full time programme which is embraced by rigor and span to prepare a practicing engineer for a lifetime of creative work and ongoing technical learning. The graduate in Electric Vehicle Engineering is able to understand, propose and adapt what is being developed in the flourishing field, playing a fundamental role in the innovation of the electric automotive sector whose future evolution will increasingly depend on such technologies. The overall education makes the graduated in “Electric Vehicle Engineering” an ideal candidate to play the role of project manager in the conception, design, realization and maintenance of complex systems in which the overall functionality depends on the interaction of multiple heterogeneous systems with a strong electric component.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/ State Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith one of the Chemistry/Computer Science/Technical Vocational Subject. Candidate must obtained minimum 45% marks or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST Category in the above subjects taken together.
