Overview
Diploma in Biomedical Engineering is largely responsible for the design of sophisticated medical equipment such as diagnostic, therapeutic machines and life saving devices like the artificial heart and dialysis machine. The course teaches the candidates the fundamental principles of operation, format of the medical diagnostic and therapeutic devices like heart monitors and cardiac defibrillators. They are trained to become skilled technologists, who can deal with lifecycle management strategies, testing procedures and methodologies.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed 10th or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board with minimum aggregate marks of 45% along with Science, Maths & English as compulsory subjects.
