Overview
Master of Social Work is a two year degree program that combines academics and practical training in the field, enabling students to serve others, fight for social justice, bring a better change in society and act with integrity. This contribution to social welfare and social development is inculcated in students through five specialised elective subjects: Labour Welfare and Human Resource Management (establishment of justice- social, political and economical, opportunities to all workers), Health and Health Care System (enabling students to assist and manage socio-psychological problems arising from any trauma), Family Centred Social Work Intervention (developing abilities in students to assess familial issues and strengthen family welfare), Rural and Urban Development (imparting knowledge to students about concept of rural and urban community and its structure), Correctional Social Work ( develop an insight about approaches applied for investigation and other legal inquiries).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed Graduation from any recognised University or AICTE recognised Institute/College in any stream with minimum aggregate marks of 45% or CGPA of 5.0 for Gen/OBC and 40% marks or CGPA of 4.5 for SC/ST Category.
