Overview

M.Tech. - Biotechnology is a two year postgraduate degree course which encompasses biotechnological skills in the arena of animal, microbial, plant biology, agriculture, health and environment. After M.Tech the students are skilled to work in different research laboratories, production industries, pharmaceutical industries or agriculture companies. They can also pursue research programs like M.Phil or Ph.D which will enable them to enter in high end research.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed B. Tech in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Medical Biotechnology or equivalent from any recognised University or AICTE recognised Institute/College with minimum aggregate marks of 50% or 5.5 CGPA for GEN/OBC and 45% marks or 5.0 CGPA for SC/ST Category.
Or
Candidate must have passed M.Sc. in Biotech/ Plant Biotechnology/ Animal Bio-technology/ Physical Sc./ Chemical Science/ Life Science (Zoology, Botany, Environmental Science, Biochemistry) or equivalent from any recognised University or AICTE recognised Institute/College with minimum aggregate marks of 50% or 5.5 CGPA for GEN/OBC and 45% marks or 5.0 CGPA for SC/ST Category.
Or
Candidate must have passed B. Pharma or equivalent from any recognised University or AICTE recognised Institute/College with minimum aggregate marks of 50% or 5.5 CGPA for GEN/OBC and 45% marks or 5.0 CGPA for SC/ST Category.
