University Hostels includes both Gargi Girls Hostel (GGH) and Tygore Boys Hostel (TBH) is a resident Hostel for full-time Graduate, Postgraduate students and also for research scholars pursuing Ph.D. from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University.
It has provision for accommodating a large number of students from all states of India and abroad. It provides a comfortable, congenial and homely environment to the residents. Elegantly designed and surrounded by greenery, both the hostel has 6 floors, 12 wings consisting of 216 rooms.
The common room fitted with LCD television and DTH connection for recreational activities and reading room with a library facility for mental fitness while outdoor & indoor sports facility along with a fully equipped gymnasium for physical fitness. Dining Hall is maintained hygienically for students to enjoy their meals and water cooler fitted with water purifier is available in each wing of each floor. There is a designated well-maintained visiting area for the visitors of the residents while there are well furnished guest rooms available for the comfortable overnight stay of the resident’s guest.
Modern amenities such as 24 hours power back up, Medical aid, Wi-Fi facility, |ATM, Bank Facility. For security purpose a Police outpost and CCTV Cameras monitor security in all peripheries along with Biometric attendance facility helps in maintaining secure campus and also for prompt action if need arises. As University is located in Barabanki hence, a university bus exclusively for hostel inmates is available on Sunday for outing with fix timing to make their outing comfortable as well as secure.
Hostel Management is twofold one is from University side wherein Chief Warden is the head of all the hostels while Wardens are the administrative head of the Hostel. For internal administration and day-to-day discipline and medical issues, the Resident Warden, Medical practitioner, Office Executive, and Office attendants assist the Warden and second is student side whose participation is ensured through various committees wherein they decide the most crucial issue of finalization of menu and also there is mess committee which has right to take surprise visit into store and check the quality of products used for mess purpose.

Professor Krishna Srivastava is an enthusiastic and dynamic academician with a teaching experience of almost two decades, have numerous publications and 7 patents to his credit.
He has a vision of preparing the youth to become morally responsible global citizens which is why University has entrusted him with responsibility of Chief Warden of both Girls and Boys hostel besides being Proctor of University.
Being Chief Hostel Warden organizing lecture series of eminent speakers, execution of yoga workshops, blood donation and tree plantation camps is just few activities which is just to instill personal wellbeing among students along with social responsibilities.
He is member of the disciplinary committee and other administrative bodies such as:

Prof. (Dr.) Alka Singh, Dean, Department of Commerce & Economics, Institute of Management, Commerce and Economics, ShriRamswaroop Memorial University, Barabanki, UP, India, is a bright alumnus of Lucknow University having Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in the year 2003 along with Masters in Business Administration & Commerce (M.B.A, M.Com). An active participant and contributor towards social causes and outreach activities and has successfully organized events like Yoga Camp, Blood donation camp, medical camp, National Integration Camp, Plantation, Save Child camp etc. She has an active member of various academic and management bodies like Councils, Committees and Board of Studies, Assistant Proctor and warden of Girls hostel. Being warden of girls hostel, she has been instrumental in maintaining very effective administration, strict discipline and very healthy environment in the hostel. She has been very actively involved in all hostel related events including day to day activities. An active participant and contributor towards social causes like blood donation, participation in Swach Bharat abhiyan, plantation drive, self defence workshops, Yoga sessions, awareness program concerning health, hygiene various government schemes, outreach activities and conduct of various cultural programs and competitive events in the girls hostel. Rejuvenation Through Sports
There are excellent recreational facilities for sports at SRMU. Indoor and outdoor games like chess, carrom, badminton, tennis, basketball, volleyball, football, cricket etc. Gymnasium facility is also provided for students. For multi-dimensional development, students are encouraged to participate in at least one game/sport of their choice.
Extensive outdoor and indoor games facilities have been provided within the campus for overall physical development and recreation. We firmly believe in the age old adage “Healthy mind resides in a healthy body”.
Enhanced medical facility is provided within the University to all the Students and Faculty / Staff members for immediate medical attention and care. This facility has been outsourced to “Doctel.” A health kiosk machine is available in the centre. A full medical check-up of the students is done twice a year.
The complete medical data is stored in an App. Provision of two nurses (Male & Female) is available in MI room as well as in hostel. Empanelled and enlisted doctors are available through video conferencing for online support. The centre has the first-aid facility for any emergency that may arise.
Apart from the Doctel Program, there is an availability of General Physician (Doctor) during working hours. The University also has tie ups with Hospitals in Lucknow for medical care. Ambulance service is available round the clock for the hostlers, to transport the patients needing specialized medical care.
Cafeteria & Eating Joints
A spacious Cafeteria along with few more eating joints are located within the campus catering meals, snacks, beverage, mineral water etc. for students, faculty and visitors.
Students and faculty have to deal with a regular heavy pressure of academics and therefore they require a place to unwind and relax over a cup of tea/coffee. A well laid out and spacious cafeteria is located within the campus catering for meals, snacks, beverage, mineral water etc for all students, faculties and visitors. Extended opening hours have been deliberately kept to ensure that the services of the cafeteria are available at all times.
The University has a dedicated fleet of Buses for the convenience of Students/ Faculty & Staff members. The buses cover all the major localities of the city of Lucknow and Barabanki.All buses have trained Drivers and conductors & frequent refresher classes are also being taken so as the Drivers and Conductors follow all the tariff norms and also have cordial relation /interaction with the passengers.
The University also has a dedicated fleet of cars for conveyance of Senior Faculty Members & Heads of Department. A total of 14 drivers are on university rolls for performing these duties & a dedicated Ambulance along with Driver is always ready for any Medical attention/ Emergency.
