Research Aptitude Test (RAT)

All the eligible PhD applicants will be called to appear in University Research Aptitude Test (RAT) on the notified date and time through online mode as per current pandemic situation due to covid-19. The online link and other details will be provided to the applicant’s registered Email ID or Mobile number.
The question paper of RAT consists of 50% questions of Research Aptitude, Reasoning, English proficiency and 50% questions is of subject specific.
The qualifying marks for PhD (RAT) will be 50% at least.
The syllabus of Section-A of RAT, covers General awareness, English language, Reading Comprehension, Reasoning/Mathematical/logical, Data Interpretation, Research aptitude etc. while Section-B consists of subject related question as per UGC/CSIR/NET/GATE Examination.
