The Constitution Day Rally was inaugurated by Shri Girish Chandra Yadav, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Sports and Youth Welfare, Uttar Pradesh. He was joined by esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Sameerdeep Saxena, Regional Director of NSS, Government of India; Professor (Dr.) Manju Singh, from the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Dr. Amrendra Kumar, NSS Program Coordinator; and Dr. Anil Kumar, Program Officer. Their presence underscored the importance of the event in promoting awareness about the Constitution among the youth.
After the rally concluded at Ambedkar Park, Shri Girish Chandra Yadav addressed the attendees, emphasizing the historical and cultural significance of the Constitution's adoption. He highlighted the values enshrined in the Constitution and the responsibility of every citizen to uphold them. Accompanied by officials, trainers, and athletes from KD Singh Babu Stadium and Guru Govind Singh Sports College, he led the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution. The act was joined by thousands of enthusiastic youths, reaffirming their dedication and respect for the nation’s foundational principles.
More than 50 volunteers from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, including Prajwal Singh, Ayush, Anshika Kumari, and Karishma Agrahari, actively participated in the event, contributing to its success. Their involvement reflected the commitment of SRMU students to civic duties. Dr. Anil Kumar extended heartfelt thanks to all officials, volunteers, and participants for their efforts and dedication, ensuring the rally's impactful execution.
