Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) recently celebrated the launch of the first edition of its newsletter, *SRMU Compass*. This inaugural edition is a significant achievement for the university, providing a comprehensive view of its academic successes, events, and innovations. Under the guidance of Pro-Chancellor Pooja Agarwal and University Advisor Aarushi Agarwal, the newsletter was developed to reflect the vibrant spirit and achievements of the university. The editorial team, led by Chief Editor Dr. Tanvi Jain and co-editors Dr. Vimlesh and Er. Anjali Singh, curated the content for the session from July 2023 to June 2024. The *SRMU Compass* will be published twice a year, in the winter and summer sessions, and will serve as a platform to communicate the university’s achievements and developments with its broader community.
The unveiling ceremony was a grand occasion, attended by distinguished members of SRMU, including Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Mishra, Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Neerja Jindal, and senior faculty such as Prof. B.M. Dixit, Prof. Nidhi Shukla, Dr. Abhishek Saxena, and Prof. (Dr.) Apoorv Anand. The event saw active participation from both faculty members and students, emphasizing the importance of this milestone in the university's journey. The *SRMU Compass* is designed to enhance the university's connection with its stakeholders, including students, faculty, alumni, and external partners, by providing a clear and engaging summary of the university's progress.
By launching the *SRMU Compass*, the university takes a significant step toward enhancing its communication and outreach efforts. The newsletter will not only serve as a record of SRMU’s achievements but will also help in building a sense of pride and belonging among the university community. As the newsletter evolves, it aims to capture the university’s ongoing initiatives, academic innovations, and its growing influence in the educational landscape.
