Admission Process

Procedure for Admission in Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programme:
Our Ph.D. program follows the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations of 2016 and 2018. Each academic year, the allocation of Ph.D. seats is determined based on available supervisors in specific research areas, adhering to the research scholar-teacher ratio.

Allocation of Seats for Ph.D. degree Course:
Every year, the Ph.D. seat allocation in each faculty is determined by supervisor availability in specific research areas, adhering to the research scholar-teacher ratio (Clause-5.2) following notification from the Director, Research & Consultancy (R&C). Seats are then distributed among SC/ST, OBC, and General categories in line with UGC guidelines and UP State Government policy.
