A three days international conference on ‘Advancement in Natural Sciences: Vedic to Modern Era’ is being organized in Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Deva Road-Lucknow, Barabanki. The inaugural session of the conference was addressed by Prof. A.S. Vidhyarthi, VC Bikaner Technical University, he explained that the invention of Puspak Viman took place in Treta Yug, It was sound proof and moves according to the will of pilot. Prof. P K Bajpai VC JP University, Chapra emphasised the importance of learning science and technology according to Indian culture. The key note speakers were Dr. Shibesh Kumar PICS, Odisha, Dr Dinesh Kumar, SGPGI, Prof. Surya Narayan Gautam, Prof, Iyenger, Dr, Vishal Dwivedi, Tampere University, Finland and Prof. A.K. Thakur GGV Bilaspur also explained about the importance of Vedic Science.

Speaking to the audience, Prof. Madhu Gupta, from SJJTU, Rajasthan, congratulated to Prof. B M Dixit for starting a diploma course on Vedic science. She suggested that students should pay attention in the class room and interact with fellow students. She emphasised the importance of inter-disciplinary faculty exchange program among the different science faculties. Prof. Prabha Rastogi founder of SRVVNK emphasise the role of Vedic mathematics in problem solving and exploring scientific temperament. Prof. V N Pathak Dean of FOMSS, has given vote of thanks.

In this conference, 50 lectures, 300 research papers and 40 posters were displayed by UG and PG students from various faculties, out of which the researchers and students who displayed special research papers and posters were awarded. The closing address of the program was given by Coordinator Prof. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal and expressed gratitude to all the participants. The final day’s program was conducted in four parallel sessions, chaired by Prof. V.N. Pathak, Prof. Krishna Srivastava, Prof. R. G. Singh, Prof. Kulbhushan Singh, Dr. Akhilesh Mishra, Dr. Pramod Kumar, Dr. Vinay Verma, Dr. Ajay Singh and Dr. Anuj Aggarwal.
