So, there is a need to improve access to quality education on sustainable development at all levels and in all social contexts, to transform society by reorienting education and help people develop knowledge, skills, values and behaviours needed for sustainable development. Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. The role of this seminar is to ensure all learners acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including among others through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of Inclusive growth, improving teaching, Learning and Evaluation Process and Quality improvement through ICT in Teacher Education.
