Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) successfully organized a two-day International Conference on February 24-25, 2025, bringing together renowned scientists, academicians, and industry leaders to discuss the future of pharmaceuticals under the theme "Global Pharma Vision 2040: Innovation, Sustainability, and Access." Jointly hosted by the Institute of Pharmacy, Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SRMU), and the Department of Pharmacy (SRMCEM), in collaboration with the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), the conference aimed to explore transformative trends in healthcare, drug discovery, and pharmaceutical advancements. The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment, followed by keynote addresses from distinguished experts across the globe.
The conference featured a dynamic exchange of ideas through scientific sessions, panel discussions, and research presentations, engaging over 1,300 registered participants, with 3,000 attendees joining via YouTube from 134 institutions and 30 universities across 10 states. Notable speakers included Dr. Vibhu Sahani (EC Member, PCI), Dr. Manish Kumar Chourasia (CDRI Lucknow), Dr. Vinod Tiwari (IIT BHU), Dr. Min Hua Chen (Taiwan), Dr. CHV Rao (NBRI Lucknow), Dr. Palanisamy Sivanandy (Malaysia), Dr. Pankaj Dwivedi (Missouri, USA), and Dr. Himanshu Chaudhary (CBMR Lucknow). The panel discussion, featuring Dr. Nikhil Sachan (UGC), Mr. Sushant Sharma (Deputy Drug Controller of India), and top industry professionals, provided critical insights into emerging pharmaceutical trends, regulatory frameworks, and research innovations. With the support of Chancellor Er. Pankaj Agarwal, Pro-Chancellor Er. Pooja Agarwal, Academic Advisor Ms. Arrushi Agarwal, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vikas Misra, and Registrar Dr. Neerja Jindal, the conference successfully reinforced SRMU’s commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education, research, and industry collaboration.
