The dynamic Team Neural Nex from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) has achieved a monumental milestone by securing the 2nd Position in the prestigious Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024, one of India’s largest and most competitive innovation events. The grand finale of this esteemed competition took place at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru, where the brightest minds from across the country gathered to tackle real-world problems with innovative tech-driven solutions. Amid intense competition and tough challenges, Team Neural Nex stood out with their ingenuity, determination, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
The team – comprising Harshita Singh (BSc IT), Shrinjay Shresth (BTech CSE), Kaustubh Pandey (BTech CSE), Anushka Dixit (BTech CSE), Mohd Tabish Khan (BTech CSE DS+AI), and Arya Mishra (BTech CSE DS+AI) – was assigned a critical problem statement from the Ministry of Jal Shakti, focusing on developing a software application for analyzing Digital Water Level Recorder (DWLR) data. Their innovative solution demonstrated advanced data analysis capabilities, aimed at better water management and resource monitoring, which directly aligns with India’s initiatives for sustainable development. The team’s brilliance in ideation, technical execution, and seamless collaboration earned them this well-deserved honor and showcased SRMU’s commitment to fostering future-ready tech leaders.
