Mechanical engineering is a field that designs and builds tools and machines for a variety of functions using the laws of mechanics. Knowledge is the industrial revolution's lifeblood. To design, evaluate, and manufacture equipment, mechanical engineers employ these fundamental ideas in conjunction with programs like computer-aided design (CAD) and product lifecycle management. Among the oldest and most comprehensive engineering specialties, mechanical engineering is continuously advancing.

SRMU is one of the top universities in Uttar Pradesh, and has made a name for itself in the community of mechanical engineering by turning out skilled workers in recent years. The Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's program, offered by the Faculty of Engineering, is a four-year curriculum that aims to provide all students with a basic understanding of mechanics on several levels. The program's breadth has been approached uniquely by the department, giving students a thorough grasp of fundamental mechanical concepts including thermodynamics, mechanics, materials, manufacturing, design, material science, structural analysis, and so on.

Program Objectives

Program Learning Outcomes

Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
