M.Tech. in Power Electronics & Electric Drives

Developing synergies so that no resistance has the ability to drop our potential

Overview

With a wide range of uses, including electric vehicles, household appliances, and smartphones, power electronics systems demand a large share of the global market. Power electronics developments are essential to the fight against climate change and to countries' efforts to create more environmentally friendly and efficient environments. Electric drives are a vital area of power electronics that affects every facet of human existence. More sophisticated electric motor drives are currently taking the place of earlier motor drives in order to improve performance, efficiency, and durability due to the quick development of power electronics and control approaches.

The goal of the two year full time M. Tech. program in Power Electronics & Electric Drives is to teach students to acquire the knowledge of the concepts of modern power converters technologies, designing mechanism and their application in drives, industries and power transmission network. Students will be able to identify different types of converters according to the rating demand and designing techniques. Ranked as the best M.Tech. College in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, this program aims to provide students with wide variety of opportunities both in industry as well as in Research & Development fields.

All Ramswaroopians enrolled in this program at one of the best institutions in Uttar Pradesh are actively involved in cutting edge research on various electrical engineering topics to guarantee innovation, which feeds the country's growth engine even more.
