Production and Industrial engineering is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering that includes the study of complex systems, processes, or organizations as well as manufacturing technologies, engineering sciences, and management science. Production is a crucial step in the engineering process that is connected to inventory control and distribution. Manufacturing technology and management science are combined in this specialization in mechanical engineering, which is often referred to as production & industrial engineering. By utilizing integrated design, effective planning, and functional systems, production and industrial engineers aim to increase productivity.
