IIRS is a premier Training and Educational Institute set up for developing trained professionals in the field of Remote Sensing, GPS Technology and Geo-informatics. Its aim is to provide online learning platforms for space technology and its applications. The live and interactive sessions are conducted by experts from IIRS-ISRO and other knowledge Institutions. The e-learning contents are created as interactive multimedia application and integrated with customized LMS based on Moodle. SRMU is now a network institute of IIRS outreach network.
