Empowering Future Engineers: L&T EduTech AI Lab Opens at SRMU

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University inaugurated the L&T EduTech AI Lab – a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence designed to strengthen innovation, research, and skill development in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The lab aims to equip students with hands-on expertise in AI tools, certification programs, and real-time projects, enabling them to meet the demands of emerging technologies. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Pro-Chancellor Er. Pooja Agarwal, Academic Advisor Ms. Arrushi Agarwal, Vice-Chancellor Col. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Pathak, senior academic leaders, and representatives from L&T EduTech. Chancellor Er. Pankaj Agarwal shared his message, highlighting this collaboration as a transformative step toward developing globally competitive talent and advancing Uttar Pradesh as a future AI hub.

Speaking at the event, university leaders emphasized that the new AI Lab will serve as a catalyst for student growth in fields such as coding, machine learning, robotics, and advanced computational technologies. Pro-Chancellor Er. Pooja Agarwal noted that the facility will inspire students to excel in modern engineering domains, while Academic Advisor Ms. Arrushi Agarwal underlined the importance of preparing youth to lead in a digitally driven future. L&T EduTech’s leadership also expressed confidence that the lab will support students through industry-relevant tools, structured learning pathways, and project-based training, thereby strengthening their employability and innovation potential.

The inauguration marked a significant milestone in SRMU’s continuous effort to elevate technical education and integrate industry-aligned content into its curriculum. Faculty members highlighted how this collaboration will enhance practical learning through industrial projects, internship opportunities, and research exposure. Experts also pointed out that the synergy between AI and engineering will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of intelligent manufacturing, automation, IoT, and Industry 4.0-readiness. The ceremony witnessed active participation from students across engineering disciplines, showcasing the enthusiasm and readiness of learners to embrace the future of AI-led technologies.
