M.Tech. in Electric Vehicle Technology

This time is right for this clean technology, in fact the time is critical

Overview

Everyone agrees that the best way to reduce gas emissions and reliance on oil for transportation is to use electric cars, or EVs. Electricity serves as the primary energy source for recharging the batteries in electric vehicles (EVs), as opposed to conventional fuels like petrol or diesel. Given the anticipated increase in the number of electric vehicles on the road, future oil consumption should decrease. One of the most important aspects of EV technology, on which much current research has been concentrated, is the charging infrastructure.

The two-year, full-time M.Tech program in electric vehicle technology teaches students the fundamentals of electric vehicles, including their architecture, technologies, and operations. It also analyzes how various power electronics converters and electrical machines are used in electric vehicles and helps them interpret how various hybrid vehicle configurations, electric vehicle configurations, and their components operate. Finally, the program helps students understand how HEV charging stations are controlled and configured.

One of the best engineering schools in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, SRMU, offers an M. Tech program that often allows students to collaborate on research projects, network with industry experts, or work as interns for respectable businesses. This facilitates networking with experts in the field and encourages a pragmatic understanding of real-world problems.
