Overview

Bachelor in Science in Food Technology is a three year degree programme. This bachelor course in food technology involves all aspects of food science including production, processing and distribution. The purpose is to better comprehend food processes and finally improve food products for the general public.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/ State Board with Physics and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subject alongwith Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science with minimum aggregate marks of 45% or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST Category.

The aim of this program is to prepare students to take up a career in food industry or research. The course curriculum is designed to strengthen the fundamentals in basic subjects and provide hands on practice in all the disciplines of food technology.
